Community Forums
Good Information.
A good process through which to consider information that includes good dialogue.
The right people sitting at the table to work through it - that is to say, the diverse interests and perspectives in the neighborhood impacted by the issue.
Those are the three factors CHUN believes are the foundation to good community meetings and lead to solutions for tough challenges.
CHUN offers Community Forums that are based on these principles around various neighborhood issues such as development, land-use, transportation, (Zoning Committee) affordable housing and homelessness (Homelessness Dialogue and Action Group), and historic preservation and neighbhorhood character (Historic Preservation Committee). During election seasons, we also convene issue and candidate forums so that citizens can make informed decisions at the ballot box.
