Tree Committee Tree Committee Chair - Brad Cameron
This year CHUN is working in conjunction with the Denver Digs Trees program to help distribute neighborhood street trees. Not only do trees provide beauty and shade to our neighborhoods while helping to reduce noise and water pollution, but now they are considered to be a way to combat climate change. If your property has room along the street for more trees, consider participating in the Denver Digs Trees program. Visit http://www.theparkpeople.com/2010PP_SpringTreeApp_Web.pdf to download a form. If you would like help planting your trees, then please send a copy of your form to the CHUN office. CHUN’s “Tree Volunteers” will assist at no cost by delivering and planting your street trees at any property within CHUN’s boundaries, and will also provide information about how to care and water your new street trees. Please contact the CHUN office for more information at 303.830.1651.
Please visit www.arborday.org for information on tree pruning! For information regarding tree pruning following storm damage Download File: treesstormdamage.pdf
